The Story of Sacred Temple Meal CO

In 2012, weighing 260 lbs and facing a major life change I dedicated my life to becoming healthy and loving myself without feeling bad about it. Through that, I discovered my passion for fitness, health, wellness, and healthy cooking. It was then I realized my passion was to help people. So I became a personal trainer and shortly found out that wasn't my way to help efficiently. Although I loved to exercise it wasn't my strong suit as far as being able to help people in a physical sense.I hope to reframe that one day. It wasn't until during my Health Coach training that I found my passion was in the kitchen. It had been there all along!! So im going to Rewind and take a mini trip to 2012 when my journey began.

The truth is guys I was going through a divorce after 15 years and it was earth-shattering. So, in turn, I completely turned myself and my lifestyle around and a big part of that was cooking. Research and development if you will. I was in a completely different state away from my family, heartbroken but driven and motivated. At the time I was living in Fort Worth, TX, and worked for the city so I was able to start over again by myself. My new apartment was across the way from a gym so I signed up and set on a journey that would forever change me.

I'll be completely honest, I think I became a little insane lol... I was in the gym 5-7 times a week and when I couldn't make it at least 6 days I got so upset at myself. But the major factor was my nutrition. Before I started my transformation I was on what I liked to call a "fast food/gas station diet". I ate like total garbage, so along with my gym obsession, I ventured into the vegetarian cooking world. Experimenting with cooking, recreating meals but in a vegetarian way, sometimes playing around with vegan dishes. I became obsessed and after staying consistent with my workouts and my new eating habits I started to see changes in my body and that made me even more motivated to keep going. After deciding whom I wanted to be and what I wanted to I moved back to California and ended up in San Diego. I have become the type of person that is welcoming to change. Since my move to Texas and leaving my family and friends behind I just love the idea of moving to different states, different cities but never the same one. So being in gorgeous San Diego and being able to lean on my family while I got my life straight again was exactly what I needed.

When I first started to lose weight I was playing around with meal prep. Always making meals to take to work, cooking for co-workers, and sharing my creations to get feedback and make it better the next time.  So I ended up taking some nutrition courses at the community college and just became more hungry to keep learning about food, nutrition, and healthy cooking.   Being overweight can become a domino effect on your health. When I was overweight I was diagnosed with PCOS, my body and my inside lady factory were NOT  working the way It was designed to work. IT WAS BECAUSE OF THE WAY I CHANGED MY DIET AND LIFE that actually healed me. I lost the weight, the factory went back to normal and it's all because I choose to live a healthier life

That's when I decided to become a health coach. There is always a big motivating factor and in the end, where I find my value is being of service to people who need it. Learning about people, digging deeper, and really helping people make an impact on their lives. Not just focusing on the physical aspect of health, but many other things. Relationships with food, money, and family. During my certification, I decided to take it a step further and began advertising and reaching out to strangers to meal prep for them. almost 5 years later here I am taking it another step further and throughout the time you will see a great meal prepping company doing things differently and adding value to the Meal prep Industry. Doing what I love by understanding and helping others achieve their goals.
